Basketball

Information:

            Ole Miss Youth Sports will be offering basketball this winter. OMYS has begun accepting registrations for Boys and Girls basketball. Leagues accepting registrations are below:

• Boys Basketball: K & 1^st Grade; 2^nd & 3^rd Grade; 4^th & 5^th Grade
  
• Girls Basketball: K & 1^st Grade; 2^nd & 3^rd Grade; 4^th & 5^th Grade

Registrations:

Registrations will be open until FRIDAY DECEMBER 19^th. Cost per child is $25 (checks should be made payable to Ole Miss Youth Sports). Each athlete will receive a reversible jersey and a t-shirt. Games will begin in mid-January. You can either submit the registration form:

• in the office at Northview or Westview elementary

Evaluations:

Once registrations end and your child is signed up, evaluations will begin the following week. Evaluation times are listed below (this is mandatory for all players who sign up):

• Girls K & 1: Monday December 29^th from 5:30-6:15 @ Northview
  
• Girls 2 & 3: Monday December 29^th from 6:30-7:15 @ Northview
  
• Girls 4 & 5: Monday December 29^th from 7:30-8:15 @ Northview
  
• Boys K & 1: Tuesday December 30^th from 5:30-6:15 @ Northview
  
• Boys 2 & 3: Tuesday December 30^th from 6:30-7:15@ Northview
  
• Boys 4 & 5: Tuesday December 30^th from 7:30-8:15 @ Northview

**Parents, during evaluations you are welcome to stay but in order to do evaluations with proper gym space, we are not allowing parents to wait inside the gym.

**If players have not paid the $25 league fee by evaluations, parents will need to come prepared to pay dues at the end of evaluations.

Questions or Further Information:

Once evaluations are completed and done, each player will be contacted in the beginning of January by their coach or the commissioners. Once again, games will begin in January and run through February. Information will be given to you by that time period.
